Initially this bike came up with a 150cc engine, later it was improved to 180cc thereby increasing the performance and pick up speed. Honda Unicorn comes with air-cooled, 4-stroke engine with 150CC. The engine has support for single cylinder, two valves and the electrical specifications of Honda Unicorn are 12 volts. Honda Unicorn develops 13.3bhp of peak power at 8000 rpm and a torque of 1.3Kg-m is generated @ 5500rpm. It can also start either by self start or by kick start. The biggest attraction about this bike is the suspension. Unicorn is India’s first bike with a mono-shock suspension. Honda Unicorn has 240 mm diameter disc brakes in the front and 130 mm drum brakes in the rear. Unicorn gives a very good mileage of around 50 kilometers per liter.
