This bike overrides other bikes in case of acceleration. Average speed of about 125kmph@8000rpm can be attained easily in roads of normal condition. One of the major disadvantage of this bike is lack of mileage compared to other standard bikes. Basically it depends on the frequency of maintenance by the user. Normally this bike looks smart and enchanting physically. This looks like a sport bike in external appearance. The company has been introducing different versions in Karizma such as Karizma 350, Karizma ZMR, etc.. As far as speed is concerned this bike is quiet better than other bikes of same standard.

Pulsar is comparatively a faster bike than Karizma and performance is also comparatively better than other bikes. One of the major advantage of Pulsar is that it is more compatible for Indian roads. It is provided with very sensitive disc brakes which has to be applied carefully during travels . Pulsar 150cc gives a mileage of around 55 – 60 kmpl which actually depends on the maintenance of bike by the user. Another significant factor in Pulsar ExhausTEC which actually stands for Exhaust Torque Expansion Chamber. This technology was implemented by Bajaj specially for this bike which involves the use of a small chamber connected to the exhaust pipe of the engine to modify the effect of back pressure and thereby increase the performance of bike. Basic features of Pulsar 150cc: 149.8cc, 13.8Bhp @ 8000rpm, Top speed- 110kmph, Mileage- 50kmpl in city, 60kmpl on highways, alloy wheels, Disc Brakes, LED Tail Lamp, Multi Reflector Head lamp, digital speedometer, etc..
